It is unusual for us to get much snow in here in central Oklahoma.  When we do get snow, it is frequently of small quantity and is very blown by the wind.  An unusual storm came through the first part of January, first coating everything with 1/2″ of ice and then dumping 7″ of snow.  The other thing that was unusual was the perpetual Oklahoma wind was not to be found, leaving piles of snow on fences and trees.   A wonderful landscape to photograph.

I have known Stephanie since her and my daughter were in grade school together.  It’s always fun taking photographs when you know the people involved.

We started in the studio and then went on a safari shoot down a back ally.  It was a a lot of fun and we got some great images.  Thanks Stephanie!
